I edit a remote desktop then unchecked this package, but folder redirection is generally mapped when connecting to any rémote désktop with this option unchecked. I have noticed that the check out container to 'Enable folder redirection' is definitely ignored. I am running Microsoft Remote control Desktop computer 8.0.12 for Mac OSX 10.9.5. You can then use purchase history to download the older version on the older Mac. I would still like to find a way to get the 8.x version of Microsoft RDC for Mac installed on this OS X 10.7. Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection for OS X 10.7. From the Apple Store download and install the latest Microsoft Remote Desktop app – it should be version 8.0.12 or higher.
